CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Recently, the third "Exhibition of Artist in Huangjueping" directed by the People's Government of Jiulongpo District, Chongqing and Sichuan Fine Arts Institute was held at 102 Art Base, Huangjueping, Jiulongpo District, Chongqing. Citizens can visit the exhibition for free.

What is "Huangjueping Drifter"? It is understood that the word "Huangjueping Drifter" has been born for more than 20 years. The artistic ecology of Huangjueping is ups and downs, and what remains unchanged is the "Huangjueping Drifter" artists rooted in this artistic soil. Huangjueping and "Huangjueping Drifter" artists in the process of urban renewal, are experiencing their own gorgeous upgrade.

In 2019, the "Exhibition of Artist in Huangjueping" was born. It is dedicated to promoting and funding the artists who still persist in Huangjueping area and take Huangjueping as their theme, and set up the "Most Influential Award – outstanding artist who once made artistic creation in Huangjueping, "Best Newcomer Award" – outstanding artist who is making artistic creation in Huangjueping, and "Best Creation Award" – Outstanding artist who creates with Huangjueping as the theme.

It is reported that the third "Exhibition of Artist in Huangjueping" in 2022 has collected more than 200 works from all over the country. The types of works include traditional Chinese painting, oil painting, printmaking, sculpture, photography, pastel painting, lacquer painting, installation art, etc. After the initial evaluation and re-evaluation by the expert group, a total of 57 works were finally selected, of which 3 works were awarded. Different from the previous two sessions, the third "Exhibition of Artist in Huangjueping" made a breakthrough in the way of exhibition. It not only exhibited original works in the exhibition hall of the 102 Art Base, but also added online exhibition hall of "Jiulong Art Peninsula – Exhibition of Artist in Huangjueping" and "Street Art Museum – Exhibition of Artist in Huangjueping". The citizens who are interested in art exhibitions can view the latest works of the "Huangjueping Drifter" artists through the Jiulong Peninsula outdoor screen, mobile phone applet, and 102 exhibition hall.

It is worth mentioning that the exhibition in Hall 102 ended on July 10, and the "Street Art Museum – Exhibition of Artist in Huangjueping" will continue to be displayed until the second half of 2022, and the mobile applet will have a permanent exhibition.
