In the Crispy Red Plum Base in Hongyun Village, fuchsia crispy red plums are densely hanging on the branches. Especially in May, when the picking is coming to an end, the fruit farmers bring baskets to the base to pick plums. After picked, they are packed and transported them to various places for sale.

"We plant more than 50 mu of crisp red plums on the base. This year is a bumper year of plums regardless of the altitude. The base has about 20 mu of May crispy red plums, and the yield per mu is about 1,500 jin, which can be sold for 4-5 yuan per jin. The output value is more than 120,000 yuan, and it is still in short supply. The remaining 30 mu of crisp red plums can be picked in about 20 days. Calculated at the current price, the value is 180,000 yuan, and the crisp red plums of the base can earn more than 300,000 yuan in one year. As the economic income is high, the life will be better and better, and the days will be hopeful," Chen Ming, the base manager, said with a smile. (Translated by Xu Hong, Fathom Language Limited)
