CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- On July 18, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism issued the Notice of the General Office of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism on the Declaration of the Second Batch of National Clusters of Nighttime Culture and Tourist Consumption, listing 6 projects in Chongqing as the clusters of nighttime culture and tourist consumption (a total of 123 projects nationwide), including “Eighteen Stiles · Mountai City Alley” Folk Custom Scene Are in Yuzhong District, Jiangbeizui in Jiangbei District, Three Gorges Square are in Shapingba District, Baguo City in Jiulongpo District, Longmenhao old Street in Nan’an District and Huamao Center in Yongchuan District.

A cluster of nighttime culture and tourist consumption refers to a comprehensive industrial cluster that is based on a certain nighttime landscape environment, and integrates characteristic cultural symbols, living atmosphere and commercial activities. Such a cluster can integrate with regional economic development, and serves as a driver for other sectors.

In 2021, six clusters in Chongqing, including Jiefangbei-Hongyadong street and Testbed 2 street in Yuzhong District, Guanyinqiao Cultural and Leisure Area in Jiangbei District. Ciqikou Ancient Town in Shapingba District, Landmark Riverside Danzishi Old Street in Nan’an District and Binjiang Leisure Area in Beibei District were listed as the first batch of the national clusters of nighttime culture and tourist consumption.
