CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- On the evening of July 16, the Chongqing Center for Disease Control and Prevention released the Health Management Measures for Personnel from Chengdu, Sichuan Province who come to or return to Chongqing, and updated the new and canceled key screening regions on July, 16.
Health control management measures for personnel coming to or returning to Chongqing from Chengdu, Sichuan Province

I.The management of personnel who once stayed in Jinjiang District, Wuhou District and Tianfu New Area of Chengdu in 7 days and who come to or return to Chongqing shall be carried out in accordance with the Covid-19 Epidemic Prevention and Control Work Plan (Ninth Edition).

II.The personnel who once stayed in Jinjiang District, Wuhou District, Tianfu New Area, Chenghua District and Shuangliu District of Chengdu since July 8, and who come to or return to Chongqing, have to conduct two nucleic acid testings in three days. (the interval between two testings shall be at least 24 hours, and home-based health monitoring shall be carried out before the results of two testings come out).

III.Since July, 8, people from other districts of Chengdu who come to or return to Chongqing shall get a negative nucleic acid result within 48 hours, and conduct a nucleic acid test on Chongqing after arriving in the city.

The above health management measures will come into force from 9:00 on July 16.

Health control management measures for personnel coming to or returning to Chongqing from Macao

I.Seven-day quarantine at designated facilities plus three-day home-based health monitoring (from the date of leaving Macao) will be implemented for those who come to or return to Chongqing and who once traveled to Macao. Nucleic acid tests need to be done on the first, second, third, fifth and seventh days during the quarantine at designated facilities. After the expiration of the quarantine, the point-to-point closed-loop picking-up will be carried out by the district and county of destination. Then the three-day home-based health monitoring will be started, and a nucleic acid test needs to be done on the third day.

II.After arriving in Chongqing, those who have left Macao for less than 10 days need to meet the requirement of “seven-day quarantine at designated facilities plus three-day home-based health monitoring” so as to fulfill the health management measures.

III.Macao people who come to or return to Chongqing and who pass through medium and high-risk regions in China as well as the counties of those regions (cities, districts, counties), shall conform to the regulation of health management measures from the date of leaving the risk regions.

People in China who come to or return to Chongqing shall:

According to the Chongqing Center for Disease Control and Prevention, those who have traveled outside and stayed outside Chongqing in key periods and regions shall, on the premise of keeping good physical protection, report to communities (villages), organizations in which you work, hotels and Inns immediately after arriving in Chongqing, and get  control and prevention measures done as required, such as nucleic acid testing, quarantine and health monitoring.

Citizens in Chongqing should pay close attention to the epidemic information released by authoritative departments. If it is found that there are any interactions with the reported confirmed cases in key periods or areas, you shall immediately take the initiative to report to the communities and the organizations in which you work, and conform to the requirements of the health management measures.
