CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- There is a poem that goes: “Crape myrtle flowers bloom for a hundred days, gently swaying the branches and stems of the tree.” These days, crape myrtles are blooming in places of the downtown area of the Rongchang District, which inject a sense of gentleness and peace into the city during such a hot summer.
On both sides of Yingbin Avenue, Changlong Avenue, Haitang North Road and Huangjin Avenue, as well as along the Laixi River and in parks in the city, clusters of pink and purple crape myrtles were in full bloom and swayed in the breeze, attracting many citizens to stay and take photos.
