Wanzhou Airport port was officially approved to open to the outside world, marking that Wanzhou Airport will become an international airport. After the official opening, Wanzhou Airport will be open to more countries and regions with more routes, improving the convenience of travel for the majority of passengers. It is reported that Wanzhou Airport is speeding up the construction of the T2 terminal building. At the same time, in accordance with the official air port construction standards, it is planned to upgrade the international terminal building of the T1 terminal building after the T2 terminal building is completed and put into use, and Wanzhou Airport strives to complete an international terminal area with an area of nearly 8000 square meters by the end of 2024 to lay a solid foundation for Wanzhou Airport to be built as an international airport as soon as possible.
