CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- This year marks the 70th anniversary of the opening of Chengdu-Chongqing railway. Recently, "'stop at every station': the 70th Anniversary Commemorative Exhibition of Chengdu-Chongqing Railway" was held on the passenger train 5612 of the Chengdu-Chongqing Railway, which led passengers to review the epitome of 70 years of development of the Chengdu-Chongqing Railway through old objects of the passenger train, art works, AR technology, photography collection, exhibition boards, archival materials and documentary film Through old objects of passenger trains, art works, AR technology, photo collections, exhibition boards, archival materials and documentaries.

It is understood that the commemorative exhibition was jointly held by the Chongqing passenger transport section and teachers and students team of the Central Academy of Fine Arts. Taking the train as the carrier, more than 200 old objects and works of art of the train were displayed. Three sections, including "Tradition · Collective Memory", "Present · Participation" and "Future · Marching", were set up, with a total of 10 exhibition areas, to lead passengers to review the epitome of the 70-year development of Chengdu-Chongqing railway.

Cap badges, armbands, shoulder patches, card-type tickets...... In the "Tradition · Collective Memory" exhibition, some old railway objects attracted the attention of Zhang Yujing. She told the reporter that she is a retired railroad employee, once worked as a train crew. This time, she came here to see the exhibition, and these old objects immediately pulled her back to the memories of decades ago. "I have worked on the railroad for more than 30 years, so I can say that I have witnessed the rapid development of the railway. As a railwayman, I’m very proud," said Zhang Yujing.

18-year-old Zeng Wenyi and several friends also came to Chongqingnan Railway Station early to take the 5612 train from Chongqingnan to Neijiang to watch the exhibition. "We are all ‘railway fans'. I took a bus from Linshui to Chongqing to see this exhibition." Zeng Wenyi said that when he was a child, he often took the trains on the Chengdu-Chongqing railway and had special feelings for the Chengdu-Chongqing railway.

The relevant person in charge of Chongqing passenger transport section said that he hoped that through these works, he would show the hardships of building the Chengdu-Chongqing railway and lead the visitors to review the memory of the Chengdu-Chongqing railway. In this way, people can stand in the present and review the history, and truly experience China's speed as well as the temperature of trains in the era of high-speed railway.
