CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Recently, the "2022 Chongqing Art Fair" was open at the Jinshan E-cool in Liangjiang New Area. With a theme of "All new things come alive", the art fair features over 600 works of art from the Central Academy of Fine Art, the Academy of Arts & Design of Tsinghua University, China Academy of Art, Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts and other top ten art schools in China. The fair will be accessible to the public for free from now on to September 3.

It is reported that this art fair features small-sized works that are no larger than 120cm on each side. Small as they are, these small-sized works of art are the most satisfying works by their creators, rather than casual creations. Compared with drawing a large picture, it is easier for painters to keep their mood light and relaxed when creating a smaller one. Additionally, smaller works are more suitable for display in both work and living spaces.

"Centering on the display of artistic works, the art fair also serves the function of art trading, and is aimed at professional circles such as art collectors and literary consumers. Besides, it provides the general public with an opportunity to broaden their horizons”, said Liu Tao, the curator of the art fair. He looks forward to cooperating with those who cherish the same ideals and follow the same path, in the hope that this art fair will develop into an art consumption IP with Chongqing characteristics in the coming three to five years and thus they can realize the goal of the “Chongqing Art Expo”.
