CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The “2022 China International Beer Challenge”, the biggest and most professional beer competition in Asia, held an award ceremony in Qingdao, Shandong Province a few days ago. Chongqing Brewery Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Chongqing Brewery”) won prizes with 11 of its products, making it the most awarded beer company for the second consecutive year.

The China International Beer Challenge, a professional beer competition organized by the Organizing Committee China International Beer Challenge under the guidance of the China Alcoholic Drinks Association (CADA), is well-recognized in the industry as a good test of beer quality. There are 48 judges, including National Alcoholic Drinks Assessment Committee and Beer Judge Certification Program (BJCP) wine tasters for this year’s competition. Over 300 beers were chosen for the “Tian Lu Award” from 2,616 entries and classified into 12 categories. The prize is named for a sentence in Ban Gu's the Book of Han: Wine is a fabulous creation (“Tian Lu” in Chinese) by God, which represents high-quality brands with Chinese characteristics.
