CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport handles over 3.09 million passengers in July. The airport at its height handled over 115,000 passengers a day and made over 100,000 trips per day for 15 days of the month.

Now Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport has launched 9 destinations in Xinjiang, 10 daily flights to Urumqi, and over 3 flights to Korla and Aksu.

In addition, the flights from Chongqing to Lhasa have been increased to a maximum of 14 per day during the summer. The three daily flights to Lhasa provided by Sichuan Airlines will be served by wide-body A330s so as to offer their passengers a better flight experience.
