Station: 7 stations are set up on Jiang-Tiao Line and it will be transfer with Chongqing – Kunming High-Speed Railway

Jiang-Tiao Line starts at Tiaodeng Station of Rail Transit Line 5 and ends at Shengquansi Station in Jiangjin District, with a total length of about 28.22 kilometers. There are 7 stations, namely Tiaodeng Station, Shilinsi Station, Jiulongyuan Station, Shuangfu Station, Xiangtang Station, Jiangjin High-Speed Railway Station and Shengquansi Station.

The stations along the Jiang-Tiao Line are elevated stations, of which Jiangjin High-Speed Railway Station is located on the east side of Nanbei Avenue in Jiangjin District, and will realize convenient transfer with the Chongqing – Kunming High-Speed Railway under construction in the future.

Train: The first dual-flow line in China to be connected with Line 5 for operation

A few days ago, the reporter took the test train on the Jiang-Tiao Line for experience. When walking into the train, the reporter saw that the main color of the train is blue and white, and the running speed of the train is displayed in real time on the display screen at the junction.

"Jiang-Tiao Line is also the first rail transit line in China to apply dual flow train," said Xing Jiang, deputy general manager of Chongqing Rail Transit Jiang-Tiao Line Construction and Operation Co., Ltd. The so-called dual flow train is an AC/DC switching system set on the top of the train. When the train runs to the AC/DC conversion section, the traction transmission mode of the train can be switched to AC or DC transmission through the switching system, which can realize the through operation of suburban railways and urban rail lines.

The reporter noticed that when the train was running in the AC/DC conversion section between Jiulongyuan Station and Shilinsi Station, the train was running as usual without any difference.

According to Xing Jiang, the maximum running speed of Jiang-Tiao Line train is 120km/h, which is much higher than that of ordinary rail trains. It takes about 28 minutes to run from Tiaodeng Station to Shengquansi Station, and it will be connected for operation with Rail Transit Line 5. Passengers can reduce the transfer between urban (suburban) railways and rail traffic to further save travel time.

According to the plan, Jiang-Tiao Line will be equipped with 15 trains (90 carriages) and 6 train groups at the initial stage of operation, with a maximum passenger capacity of 2322 people/train.

During rush hours, many people feel that some carriages may be crowded, but some carriages are relatively few people. At Jiangjin High-Speed Railway Station and Shengquansi Station of Jiang-Tiao Line, the PIS screen and platform door are combined for installation on a pilot basis, and the carriages are displayed in three colors: red, yellow and green. Among them, the red indicates that the carriage is very crowded, yellow indicates that the carriage is slightly crowded, and green indicates that the carriage is not crowded.
