CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The reporter recently learned from Chongqing Rail Transit (Group) Co., Ltd. that all power substations in the 2nd phase of CRT Line 10 has successfully received electrical power from the 35kV electrical loop network at one time. The electrical connection for CRT Line 10 is going on smoothly.

As a milestone in the development of rail construction, electrical connection means that the lighting, ventilation, air conditioning, water supply and drainage, escalators and other equipment systems are going to receive electric power, be tested and finally realize their functions one after another. It supply ample power to guarantee the tests on various facilities.

The 2nd phase of CRT Line 10 (from Lanhua Road to Liyuchi) stretches about 9.86 kilometers, with a total of 10 power substations set up including 6 combined substations, 3 step-down substations, and one switching station. At the same time, it is equipped with up to 500 sets of electrical equipment and 96 kilometers of high-voltage cables. The electric power supply covers areas from Liyuchi Station to Nanbinlu Station.

After its opening to traffic, the 2nd phase of CRT Line 10 (from Lanhua Road to Liyuchi) will connect Nan'an District, Yuzhong District and Jiangbei District, and provide access to Nanping Area, Yuzhong District and Guanyinqiao Business Center. It’s expected to effectively relieve the traffic pressure of north-south transport across the river, and provide easy and convenient transport to citizens.
