Adjusting escalators running

It is understood that during flat peak period, only one of the escalators in each group with two running in the same direction at a station will be kept in operation. For example, if there are three escalators at an entrance, two of which go up and one goes down, one will go up and one will go down when the "energy saving mode" is on.

Among the multiple sets of escalators from the platform to the station hall and the entrance and exit passageway, only one up elevator and one down elevator in one set of escalators shall be opened. On the side without security check point, the escalators from the station hall to the platform are closed. In hot weather, elevators stop.

Reducing power consumption of lighting equipment

In the past, the railway stations were fully lit during peak periods (7:00 to 9:00 and 17:00 to 19:30), with half of the lighting on during flat peak periods.

After the "energy-saving mode" is on, a group of general lighting will be turned on at the underground stations during the peak traffic periods, while only emergency lighting will be kept at the underground stations of CRT Loop Line, Line 5, Line 9, Line 10 and the Stage II of the International Expo Line during peak traffic periods, and a group of general lighting will be turned on at the underground stations of other lines.

At the ground and elevated stations, there is natural "lightning" from the sun, so all lighting (including emergency lighting) is turned off during the day and a set of general and emergency lighting is turned on after 19:30.

Starting air-conditioning energy saving mode

30 minutes before the end of the operation, the air conditioners in the public areas shall be turned off in advance at the underground stations of CRT Loop line, Line 5, Line 9, Line 10 and Stage II of International Expo Line.

The temperature of the air-conditioned waiting room shall not be lower than 26 ° C, and the door shall be closed when the air-conditioning is on to keep the room cool. Adjust the operation and running organization combined with passenger flow demands, timely optimize and adjust the running organization scheme during the flat peak periods to improve the efficiency to utilize the train capacity. After the adjustment, passengers can check the train schedules and make travel arrangements in advance through Chongqing Rail Transit's official WeChat, Weibo and Yuchangxing APP.

At the same time, Chongqing Rail Transit also turned off the power supply of unused light boxes in the stations and the power supply of light boxes for public service advertising and unnecessary equipment and facilities to reduce the non-essential electricity load and further save electricity.
