People visiting Chongqing must scan the “Ruyu Code” since August 27

The "Ruyu Code" posted at the exit of Chongqingbei Railway Station. It is provided only for those coming or returning to Chongqing from other areas. The residents living in Chongqing are not allowed to scan this code.

CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The reporter learned from the Municipal Big Data Development Bureau of Chongqing that as of August 27, the “Ruyu Code”, a health code specifically for those coming or returning to Chongqing, would be put to into used after a period of trail operation, in accordance with the requirements of Chongqing Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) epidemic prevention and control policy on “nucleic acid tests upon arrival in Chongqing”. All people coming or returning to Chongqing from other areas would have to scan a “Ruyu Code” upon arrival in Chongqing.

So far, “Ruyu Codes” have been posted at the airport, railway station, inter-provincial coach station, ports, highway crossing and other traffic ports in the city. Those coming or returning to Chongqing have to scan the code and follow the prompts of the pop-up window to complete a nucleic acid test within 24 hours and report their health condition to the community before the pop-up window disappears.
