Many scenic areas reopened in Chongqing provides good places for visitors during the Mid-Autumn Festival

CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The Mid-Autumn Festival is approaching. Several travel platforms have shown that short-distance trips of one day and night, two days and one night and trips around the area are the mainstream during this year’s Mid-Autumn Festival. Meanwhile, as the weather gets cooler, several scenic areas in Chongqing has reopened, offering more options for traveling.

Nan’an: On August 31, Nanshan Botanical Garden (including Exhibition Greenhouse, Big Golden Eagle and Yikeshu) resumed operation.

Dazu: From September 1, Dazu Rock Carvings Scenic Area (including Beishan Mountain Rocking Carvings, Baoding Mountain Rock Carvings, Dazu Rock Carvings Tourist Center, Dazu Rock Carvings Museum, Baoding Mountain Shengshou Temple and other tourist spots) resumed operation.

Nanchuan: From September 2, Jinfo Mountain Scenic Area and Shenlong Gorge Scenic Area resumed operation.

Wansheng Economic and Technological Development Zone: From August 30, the Black Valley, Wansheng Shilin and Dream Ordovician orderly resumed operation.

Jiangjin: On September 1, Simian Mountain Scenic Area resumed operation.

Beibei: On September 1, the Jindaoxia Scenic Area was officially reopened to the public, with the reopening of cruise ships and ropeways.

Changshou: On September 2, Changshou Lake Taiji Island Scenic Area resumed operation.

Liangping: From September 1, Liangping Bailizhuhai Scenic Area resumed operation.
