Take a walk to these places in Chongqing in the evening breeze!

2022-09-13 14:53:16

CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- As the weather becomes colder with the approach of White Dew, a cliff-like drop in temperature in Chongqing has finally relieved the heat of the summer. Citizens have come out of their air-conditioned rooms to restart their daily outdoor leisure life. Topics such as "Feeling the romance of the mountain city in Chongqing" and "The best places to take photos of Chongqing's night scenery" are more talked about on the Internet. Let’s take a look at these observation decks where you can not only go for a walk on a cool evening but also enjoy the night scenery of the mountain city.

Sujiaba Trail Observation Deck

Chongqing, having tided over the difficulty of “power rationing”, has restored its former bright nights, and the night scenery of the two rivers is very spectacular. As for the best places for enjoying the night scenery of Chongqing, Sujiaba trail observation deck is a good choice.

1

Since Sujiaba Trail Observation Deck was opened, it has become a new famous landmark in Chongqing with its ring-shaped suspended pedestrian bridge and the beautiful river scenery. Standing at the outermost place of the observation deck, you can have a wide vision on three sides. Under the deck is the "double ring" Sujiaba interchange with vehicles running on it; in front of it is Caiyuanba bridge across the Yangtze River waterway and on the opposite is rows of Yuzhong Peninsula, showing the urban style.

It's cool in recent days, so citizens come here to take photos of the night scenery in an endless stream with their camera equipment of all kinds. If you want to get a good place to take pictures, we suggest that you go up the mountain for sightseeing at around 6:00 p.m. and bring drinks with you because there are no shops there.

Transportation: you can take CRT Line 3 and get off at CRT Tongyuanju Station, walk up to Tianqi Bridge to the ground floor and then walk up the walkway beside the tunnel.

Danzishi Old Street

Strolling along Danzishi Old Street in Landmark Riverside. You can see the sparkling Yangtze River in the sunshine during the day and the rising "star" lights on both sides of the Yangtze River at night, as well as the busy traffic making you dizzy. On the opposite of the old street is the undulating skyline of Chongqing, with a panoramic view of the two rivers and four banks under the bright lights. The city's lights are reflected in the two rivers, cruise ships on the wharf are moving slowly, and the breeze is a reminder of the solidarity of Chongqing people with the two rivers.

After enjoying the night scenery, you can also walk around to enjoy the Two Ports, Four Yards and Ten Views, and appreciate the beauty of the ancient architecture of the mountain city in the traditional buildings of Sichuan and Chongqing, such as platform building, overhang, stilted, shuttle boxes and so on. Steep steps wind up, and shops scatter all over. Here, you can enjoy the unique scene of "looking at the river from the front and from the back". Local specialty restaurants are hidden among the alleys and houses, so if you like to eat when wandering, don’t miss them.

Transportation: you can get off at CRT Danzishi Station and go out from Exit 4, then walk about 713 meters.

Ma'anshan Community Park

"Chongqing is such a city where mountains are high and roads are uneven" is the best sentence to describe this park in the mountains and its 8D terrain also creates an excellent platform for viewing the night scenery.

Ma'anshan Community Park is not very big, with low brick houses built along stone steps and mountain roads. The long stone steps are sandwiched between the brick houses and wind up, which challenges the strength of people’s legs and shows the original flavor of Chongqing "old community to be reached by climbing". The high and low houses are dotted with warm lights and cute graffiti from new-style small shops. Sober bars, bookstores, milk tea shops...... add something new to the parks hidden in the old community. When night falls, you can walk to a small shop with a view of the river and enjoy the Yangtze River flowing quietly under the glow of night, with the lights on both sides of the river reflecting each other. How pleasant with the feeling of "hiding in the city".
