CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Recently, the “Map for Water Activities” from the Series of Maps of Chongqing as the Top National Destination for Outdoor Activities, jointly prepared by Chongqing Administration of Sport and Chongqing Architectural Design Institute Co., Ltd., was officially released. The map includes more than 50 bases for water activities in the city and provides content of the water activities in detail and accurate geographical locations, serving as a reliable guide for the general public to participate in water activities.

The lately released “Map for Water Activities” includes a total of 51 projects covering 25 districts and counties such as Beibei, Banan, Yubei, Shapingba, Bishan, Chengkou, Xiushan, Nanchuan, Pengshui, Qijiang, and Fengdu. It contains more than 10 types of water activities, including cool drifting and surfing, newly emerging canyoning, exciting rafting, sailing, motorboating, paddle boarding, as well as diving and rive tracing that are really relaxing and soothing.

It is worth mentioning that drifting activities account for the largest part of water activities introduced in the “Map for Water Activities”. There are 15 excellent places for rafting, including self-guided outdoor drifting area in Pengshui Ayi River scenic area, Rongdong Valley drifting area in Chengkou, Niuqian Gorge drifting area in Fengdu, Dongxi River ecological drifting area in Zhongxian, and Yaocaohe Canyon drifting area in Shizhu, etc. The rafting activities cover Yunlin Tianxiang rafting base in Banan and Lixiang Lake rafting base in Nanchuan.
