CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Recently, the air has been refreshing after the rain. The eco-friendly footpath beside the millennium ancient temple (Lishan Temple) in Shiya Village, Dingjia Street, Bishan District, Chongqing, has attracted numerous villagers.

This year, based on the preservation of the original village style, Shiya village has transformed the previous stone road and dirt road, built an eco-friendly footpath with a length of 5000 meters and a width of 1.2 meters. 13 types of plants, like osmanthus flowers and bougainvillea, have been planted on both sides of the footpath, which complement the surrounding lotus pond, banyan trees, and pavilion, and form a new lovely scene together in the countryside.
