The past decade has witnessed the leapfrog development of China's manned space program. Now, China is striving to scale new heights for its space program. Manned rockets and spacecraft of the next generation are now under research. Major missions have been initiated including scientific exploration in the South Pole of the moon, asteroid exploration, Mars sampling and return, and exploration of the Jupiter system and other important missions.
