CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Recently, the sidewalk of the air-raid shelter in Yabi Park, Daijiaxiang, Yuzhong District has been put into use. The picture shows citizens were taking pictures inside the air-raid shelter on October 12.

It is learned that this project is one of the “Mountain City in Air-raid Shelter” – Special Action on Chongqing Civil Defense Demonstration Projects. The upper entrance of the air-raid shelter is located at the entrance platform of Daijiaxiang, while the lower entrance is located at the west side of the cliff wall of Hongya Cave. With a length of 320 meters, the shelter connects Hongya Cave, Daijiaxiang walkway, Cangbai Road and Jialing River Binjiang Road.

Centering on Bayu culture and memories of Chongqing, the shelter presents 12 stories inside, such as Picture Scrolls of the Mountain City, The Legend, The Ladder of the City of Fog, Time and Tide, Dazu Stone Carvings, Changes of the Times, and The Epitome of the Times, which provides enhance the cultural experience for tourists.
