Recently, a girl from Southwest University who had a fashion show in the dorm hall has drawn attention from numerous netizens. Some commented, “She can be a student majoring in fashion design, as there is a color atla.” “It’s somehow professional.”

On October 13, the reporter interviewed Chen Lin, a junior majoring in fashion design at Southwest University, who said that she made this video together with her classmate. “There are lots of videos of this kind online. As we major in fashion design and we have lots of ready-made materials, it’s not difficult for us to produce such kind of video.” She added it had cost less than one hour to produce the video, from shooting to editing; and the color alter and accessories appearing in the video were used in class.

The reporter saw from the video that, Chen Lin had changed more than ten sets of clothes, and each set of clothing was very creative; during the show, Chen Lin walked with a cat, and used a plastic model head as a decorative bag. The pictures of behind-the-scenes extras seem like cinema-grade photos!

After the video went viral online, Chen Lin then released a "follow-up" on the top of her personal account, in which she took photos of the clothes shown on the fashion show that seem like a cover of fashion magazine.

“This video is very creative and it seems cinema-grade,” said Lou Xia, a teacher at Southwest University. She told the reporter that the two students are majoring in fashion design at College of Sericulture, Textile and Biological Sciences of Southwest University. This major has nurtured a large number of talents for the clothing industry.

"Chen Lin has always been a ‘famous’ model of the school, so it’s not surprising that she has become popular online,” said Lou Xia. She added such kind of work allows people to gain a better understanding of this field, and it is also an excellent attempt in innovative creation.
