CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Recently, it’s been a great time to appreciate the 2,000 square meters of pink muhly grass in Chahua Square, Banan District, where the pink sea blends in well with the clear river, which form a unique landscape attracting numerous tourists to come for photographing.

It is learned that pink muhly grass is a perennial grass that is growing in warm weather and native to the prairies of North America. The grass forms surreal clouds of vibrant pink flower panicles from September to mid-November, and a large area of plantation presents a magnificent scene of pink sea.

Pink muhly grass mainly grows by the riverside in Chahua Square. Some people come to visit the sea of pink flowers with their families, some with good friends, and some with pets for photographing.

“The scenery along Babin Road is very famous among the fans of photography. They were attracted to the pink muhly grass by its beauty, and came in a hope that they can produce wonderful pictures,” said Mr. Chen, who has 3 years’ photographing experience.
