CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- On October 30, Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport will begin to implement the 2022 Winter-2023 Spring Season flight plan. According to the statistics, after the season changed, the major airlines planed to operate more than 7000 flights per week in Chongqing (the actual number may vary).

According to the flight plan for the 2022 Winter-2023 Spring Season, Jiangbei Airport will add 14 domestic destinations including Qinhuangdao, Tangshan, Ezhou Huahu, Qingyang, Chengde, Liping, Turpan, Shaoguan, Yueyang, Guyuan, Dongying, Heze, Hami and Zhangjiajie, which will greatly improve the airport accessibility. So far, the total number of domestic destinations of Jiangbei Airport has reached 145.

During the 2022 Winter-2023 Spring Season, Jiangbei Airport will continue the efforts to develop the construction of “Chongqing expressway” network and maintain a high frequency of express flights by operating 42 flights to Beijing (including Beijing and Daxing), 37 flights to Shaghai (including Hongqiao and Pudong), 28 flights to Guangzhou, and 22 flights to Shenzhen per day.

The construction of Chongqing's access to Xinjiang and Tibet has also made a breakthrough, with the addition of destinations including Hami, Turpan, Urumqi, Korla and Aksu. During the 2022 Winter-2023 Spring Season, the number of destinations in Xinjiang will reach nine. At the same time, the number of flights from Chongqing to Lhasa will be increased to 13 per day, and the number of flights from Chongqing to Urumqi will be increased to 9 per day. In addition to the routes to Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen, there will be more than 10 daily flights from Chongqing to Hangzhou, Nanjing, Changsha, Lhasa, Jinan, Fuzhou, Kunming, Wenzhou, Xiamen, Qingdao, Ningbo, Shenyang and Haikou to provide passengers with various flight options and comfortable flight experience.

In terms of the joint cooperation, Jiangbei Airport has successively set up urban terminals in Luzhou, Zigong, Nanchong, Chongqingxi Railway Station, Raffles in Yuzhong District, Chongqingbei Railway Station, and Shapingba Station, where passengers can enjoy boarding pass handling, baggage consignment, flight inquiry, high-speed rail ticket purchase, exclusive lounge, airport shuttle and other services.
