Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport plans to open up a number of international routes

CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport plans to open a number of international routes to satisfy various travel needs of passengers, according to the Chongqing Airport.

In November, Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport plans to open new routes traveling from Chongqing to Jakarta, Rome, and Bangkok, and reopen routes from Chongqing to Budapest, Dubai, Seoul, Ho Chi Minh, Phnom Penh, etc.

The Chongqing-Seoul, Chongqing-Dubai, Chongqing-Ho Chi Minh and Chongqing-Budapest routes, all operated by Air China, are scheduled to be reopened on November 3, November 12, November 15 and November 18 respectively. There are two daily flights from Chongqing to Seoul every Monday and Thursday, two daily flights from Chongqing to Dubai every Monday and Saturday, one daily flight from Chongqing to Ho Chi Minh every Tuesday, and one daily flight from Chongqing to Budapest every Friday; from November 6, there will be two flights operated by Hainan Airlines from Chongqing to Rome every Thursday and Sunday. Additionally, the airlines are actively pushing forward the opening of Chongqing-Jakarta, and Chongqing-Phnom Penh routes, which are scheduled to be opened in November.

It is learned that, Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport will actively cooperate with the relevant departments of the municipal government to reopen the international passenger flights in an orderly manner according to the national policy on the adjustments to the international passenger flights.

In terms of epidemic prevention and control, the Chongqing’s Health Management Measures for Inbound Travelers (June 29, 2022) requires that all inbound travelers to Chongqing shall be under “7+3” quarantine control. In other words, all inbound travelers will have to take a series of prevention and control measures as required right after they get off the aircraft and go through the exclusive passageway.
