CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Gone was the summer with splendid flowers, and now we are greeted with gorgeous and serene autumn days. Deep inside the national nature reserve over Xuebao Mountain, ten thousand mu of forest form a blaze of color, as if the palette was tipped over.

With a maximum altitude of 2,626 meters, the Xuebao Mountain national nature reserve boasts a wide variety of plants (4300 kinds), including 170 kinds of rare plants. The rich plant species have formed a colorful forest covering over 10,000 mu that looks like a huge oil painting.
