CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- In order to improve the market share and influence of salmon cultivated in Chongqing, the Trout Association was launched on November 4th, 2013.

In the northeast and southeast of Chongqing, which are rich in cold water resources, about 30 enterprises currently cultivate trout. These enterprises are small-scale, operated separately and have at times been lost in the market.

Two symposiums were held between The Chongqing Agriculture Commission and these enterprises in 2013, and collaboration became their main focus. After which Chongqing launched the trout association to organize the individual enterprises to perform unified breeding, technology, specification and marketing.
