January 1., 2014: Three foreign students from Chongqing Jiaotong University making dumplings together with local residents in Dongshanping Community, Danzishi Sub-district, Nan'an District.

CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- A dumpling-making competition was held between residents in Danzishi Sub-district, Nan'an District, Chongqing and three foreign students from Africa on January 24., 2014.

The three foreign students are from Benin, a country in West Africa. They have studied in Chongqing Jiaotong University for four months. "We look forward to the approaching Lunar New Year. And we'd like to know more about Chinese culture through taking part in various kinds of activities", said one of the three students.

After the competition, the three foreign students were officially approved to be members of Nan'an District Volunteer Team.
