Chongqing received over 6.42 million tourists from home and abroad during the New Year three-day holiday, achieving a total tourism revenue of 3.441 billion yuan, according to news released from the local tourism authority on 4th January.

Statistics show Hongyadong Scenic Spot, Guanyinqiao Business District and hot spring resorts across the city witnessed 33,000, 120,000 and over 100,000 visitors, respectively.
