CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- According to Chongqing Acrobatic Art Troupe, in the award ceremony of International Brotherhood of Magicians Contest closing at the local time of 8pm on July 7 (at 8 am on July 8, Beijing time), the original magic Umbrella and Fans created by the Troupe has won the Gold Cups, Gold Medal and the People's Choice Awards. It achieves the “grand slam” in this event.

International Brotherhood of Magicians (I.B.M) was founded in 1922, which is a prestigious international organization of magic. It regularly holds annual conventions with only 1 gold, silver and bronze award respectively in every contest. The highest honor of the contest, the Gold Medal Award, hasn’t been taken by participant for 13 years. The Umbrellas and Fans is the first show to win the Gold Medal and the Gold Cups Awards at the same time.

There are more than 100 programs from more than 80 countries and regions. But only more than 20 top magicians can enter the final contest.
