Alpacas took off their “coat” and pandas went in air-conditioned rooms
"Cold water shower!" Every day the giant pandas are looking forward to this moment. From the air-conditioned room that is open all day, pandas are enjoying the cool shower with the help of the zoo staff.
In addition to air-conditioners, each panda has a dedicated monitoring staff. The zoo staff said that in hot weather like this, if heat-relieving measures are not taken timely, pandas will have increased respiratory rate, sharp gasping and reduced activity. Ice cubes are given to them to relieve heat; at the same time, watermelon, apple, pear and other fruits are supplemented for a more balanced diet, just like taking care of their own children.

Summer is too hot for furry animals such as alpaca. The solution? Shaving! At the scene, the reporter saw that four or five staff members kept the alpaca in place, and another staff member used professional tools to cut off the fur from head to toe, letting these cute little animals cool down in hot summer.
