CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- On July 18, the maximum temperature reached 38 degrees Celsius in the Dazu District, Chongqing. The sprinklers run slowly along the avenue of Haitang New City. Meanwhile, gardeners are holding water pipes and shooting directly at the green belt along the roads in order to quench trees’ thirst.

The head of Garden Administrative Office in Dazu District said, “These days, the temperature is so high that plants cannot bear it. So we arranged two shifts a day, namely, plants need to be watered in the morning and evening respectively.
