CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Why not participating in a challenge with passion in this summer? Last weekend, the 2018 China Wushan Dangyang Grand Canyon International Outdoor Sports Challenge was held at Pinghe Resort. More than 900 outdoor sports enthusiasts from home and abroad started a self-challenging journey in the magnificent Dangyang Grand Canyon Scenic Area.

The challenge is divided into the elite group and the public group. The elite group adopts three outdoor sports modes: cycling, running and tandem kayak, passing through Dangyang Grand Canyon, Dangyang Town, the most beautiful road Danjiu Road, Renziping, and other scenic spots, which is a total distance of 58 km. The public group has to finish a combination task of running and tandem kayak with a total distance of 14km. Although the public group’s journey is only 14 kilometers, they can also experience the spectacular sceneries of the Opening Line of Dangyang Grand Canyon and the splendid waterfall of thousands feet.

According to the director of the organizing committee, this challenge is also an attempt of “Fitness-for-All & All-region Tourism Program”. They hope sports fans can feel the unique charm of nature and enjoy outdoor sports. (Translated by Song Zhipeng, Fathom Language Limited)
