CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- According to the Chongqing City Transportation Development and Investment Group Co., Ltd., the first phase of Line 4 will start a trial operation in August. It means that Chongqing people may take Line 4 next month.

9 stations along the line

The first phase of Line 4, as one of the important main backbones of Chongqing rail transit network, starts at Min’an Avenue Station from the west to Tangjiatuo Station to the east. It is 15.6km long and there are 9 stations, including Min’an Avenue Station, Chongqingbei Railway Station North Square Station, Toutang Station, Baoshuigang Station, Cuntan Station, Heishizi Station, Gangcheng Station, Taipingchong Station and Tangjiatuo Station.

Chongqing City Transportation Development and Investment Group Co., Ltd. introduces that the first phase of Line 4 has already started operation without passengers and it is expected to carry out trial operation with passengers in August. It also means that Chongqing people may take Line 4 next month.

The reporter learns that the railway train of Line 4 is mountain railway train of type A, short for As train. The logo color of this line is bright orange.

Transfer with Line 10 at Chongqingbei Railway Station North Square

It’s learned that there are 5 transfer stations in the first phase of Line 4, including:

Min’an Avenue Station can transfer with Loop Line being under construction in the station (on the same platform);

Chongqingbei Railway Station North Square can transfer with built Line 10 in the station;

Toutang Station can transfer with Line 9 being under construction in the station;

Baoshuigang Station can transfer with Line 9 being under construction in the station;

Taipingchong Station can transfer with planning Line 11 in the station;

Chongqing City Transportation Development and Investment Group Co., Ltd. says that the first phase of Line 4 will connect Chongqingbei Transportation Junction, Lianglu-Cuntan Free Trade Port Area, Tangjiatuo group, Gangcheng Industrial Park and other important areas after Line 4 being open to traffic.
