China delegation for Asian Games enrolls 5 from Chongqing

CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The 18th Asian Games will be held in Jakarta, Indonesia from August 18th to September 2nd. The China delegation has been assembled and is well prepared. The Administration of Sport of Chongqing said that the city's diving athlete Shi Tingmao, volleyball player Yuan Xinyue, track and field athlete Bie Ge, diving coach Liu Ben and boxing team’s doctor Jiang Liang were selected for the Chinese delegation of 18th Asian Games.
The Asian Games in Jakarta, which starts on August 18, has a total of 465 events in 40 sports. This time, the China delegation sends 1,273 people, among whom are 845 athletes including 19 Olympic champions, and 631 of them not participating in any Asian Games or Olympic Games.
Five people from Chongqing were enrolled. In terms of the athletes, as a leading female of the Chinese diving team, Shi Tingmao’s enrollment is expected. In this Asian Games, she is expected to win medals for the Team China. Shi will participate in the 3-meter springboard and 3-meter synchronized springboard. In this year's notable competitions, as long as she participated, the two gold medals have not been won by others.
