CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- On August 8, the 2018 National Fitness Day Chongqing Open Water Swimming Competition was held in Taiyang Lake, Huangshui Town, Shizhu County. More than 400 swimmers gathered here to enjoy the nature and spend the memorable national fitness day.

As the traditional brand competition of national fitness in our city, the Open Water Swimming Competition was founded in 2009, which is held on National Fitness Day - August 8 every year. This year's competition has attracted over 400 swimmers of 63 teams from 38 districts and counties as well as from 25 municipal departments and offices. There are men’s 1600-meter individual race and women’s 800-meter individual race in district and county level; men’s 800-meters individual race, women’s 800-meter individual race in municipal level.
