Recently, the largest indoor skiing site in Southwest China - Chongqing Jihua Park Indoor Skiing Hall has completed construction in Liangjiang New Area and will be officially opened to the public and tourists on August 18. Jihua Park Indoor Skiing Hall is located at Longsheng, Laingian New Area, Chongqing and has a total construction area of 22,000 square meters. There are multiple areas with different functions, such as skiing areas, snow areas, ice parks, etc. It is the only indoor skiing hall in the main urban areas of Chongqing, and the largest indoor skiing site in Southwest China. The daily capacity of the skiing hall is 5,000 visits.
There is a slide for professional people and a slide for amateur ones in the hall. The first slide is about 140 meters long and 35 meters wide with a drop of 21 meters. Ticket price is discounted for its opening: 180 yuan / 2 hours for daytime in weekdays, 230 yuan in weekends; 280 yuan / 4 hours for daytime in weekdays, 340 yuan in weekends. 150 yuan / 2 hours for nighttime in weekdays, 180 yuan in weekends; 220 yuan / 4 hours for nighttime in weekdays and 240 yuan for weekends.
Visitors who don’t want to ski can purchase the snow-playing ticket, price varies with time, with the highest being a 4-hour one at 190 yuan and the lowest being a 2-hour one at 120 yuan.
