CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- For the gymnasts dancing effortlessly and doing incredible stunts with ribbon and clubs in a court, much hard work and tear must be behind. Winning 3 gold, 2 silver and 4 bronze for the Chongqing team in the 2018 National Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships for Groups and Individuals, these girls had made a breakthrough as it was the first time that gymnasts from Chongqing won medals in national competitions. The girls have gone through many difficulties in achieving such goals, and all this has been captured by Wu Chongshun, a 73-year old photographer from Chongqing.
Citizens were attending the exhibition on the square despite the high temperature of summer in August. Wu Chongshun, who had been in the business of creative photography since 1980s, hopes the strive of the gymnasts from Chongqing Rhythmic Gymnastics Team can inspire us via his photography.
Chongqing Rhythmic Gymnastics Team is pretty new although this sport exits early as it is only established in October 2014. By chance, Wu Chongshun got to know these kids who have dreams. Doing stretch and split in tears, the gymnasts work extremely hard for their dream.
