CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The bus-priority lane connecting Dashiba and Hongqihegou has been in use officially starting on August 14.

The bus-priority lane has a one-way length of 4.3 kilometers, starting from Jiangbei Dashiba Station, via Station of Shouchuang Hong’en, Daqingcun, Aerospace Polytechnic, Huahuiyuan, and ending at Hongqihegou West Station. With over 6 two-way lanes for all the sections of the route, 13 bay-like bus stops and 21 bus lines, 539 buses in total are deployed.

So far, Liangjiang Bus Company has optimized 10 bus lines i.e. Line 133, 183, 205, 245, 270, 605, 815, 863, 865 and 881 through adjustment and merger measures, optimizing three bus stations i.e. Dashiba, Huahuiyuan and Hongqihegou West, reducing the bus repetition coefficient of Hongshi Road, standardizing the order of the station, and maximizing the use of bus way to improve the efficiency of bus operation.

To cooperate with the bus-priority lane, Line 148 and 183 have been updated with 71 one-step buses, and Line 127 will be updated with 23 vehicles soon. (Translated by Yang Lifu, Fathom Language Limited)
