CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Do you remember the first television in your family? Do you remember the scene as you take the plane for the first time? The opening ceremony of 2018 Chongqing International Image Festival was held in August 15th. The large-scale exhibition A City’s Witness formally shows to the public to witness 40-year-old changes and accomplishments of Chongqing since the reform and opening-up.

It is known that there are 7 large-scale theme exhibitions held by the commission from August 15th to October 30th, including A City’s Witness, Outdoor Exhibition of Through Time and Space, Chongqing in My Eye--Zhang Yibai’s sole exhibition, Family Albums of Chongqing Families, Mother City Theme Exhibition-the Taste of Mother City, Photography exhibition of I’m Here and Chongqing on Web and One Day of Chinese.

The exhibition, A City’s Witness, which plays an important part in 2018 Chongqing International Image Festival, will show in Chongqing Art Museum from August 15th to August 29th. It will show the 40-year-old changes and accomplishments of Chongqing and the mother city Yuzhong District since the reform and opening-up through various literature and videos about politics, economy, metropolis, culture and life of Chongqing since the reform and opening-up 40 years ago.

It is known that A City’s Witness includes time, path, intelligent manufacture, New Chongqing and expressions of Chongqing. For example, New Chongqing stepwise shows the process of Chongqing being a new city by typical city videos in different periods.
