CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Kungfood, a Chinese animation, will be released around the nation on August 17th. The previewing activity of this film was held in Chongqing to uncover secrets of such a wonderful adventure. Many audiences say that it is the first time to see so many delicious food in a Chinese animation.

It is said that Bao Qiang has always been the main character since Sun Haipeng, the director, started to make animations from 2007 and he becomes popular with netizens after posting different versions of short animations starring with Bao Qiang, including Fist of Fury and concert versions. After that, the director started to make long animations which also are created with the familiar character Bao Qiang as the prototype and a TV animation called Kungfood showed around China and over 100 countries and regions at home and abroad in 2014. Kungfood, with 10-year-old experience of the director, will show to the audiences in 2018.

The film tells a story that foods with souls start an unknown adventurous trip with partners to fight against pirates of octopus and salted fish. The film creates an appetizing and non-greasy gourmet world for audiences with imaginative childishness. In this world, it looks like mountains, rivers and lakes from far distance, but it actually is delicate gourmets in a close distance.

Crisp frying with syrup and cheese, pulp of fresh fruits, inflated toast bread and popcorn... These are really good gourmets with delicate appearances which constantly stimulate the audiences’ taste bud. Sun Jia, working on IT, said, “Characters are really cute and I became more and more hungry while watching the film even after having lunch.
