CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The Smart China Expo 2018 (hereinafter referred to as “SCE”) is to be held from August 23 to August 25 in Chongqing. To prepare for SCE, the City Lighting Authority is doing all it can do to ensure functional lighting’s normal operation.

Since July, the City Lighting Authority has adopted various methods to carry out special rectification on the lighting of 15 bridges and 15 barges. For bridge lighting projects that have been taken over and to ensure the overall effect of the lighting, the Authority and related construction teams together have a maintenance on the bridge lighting that are in warranty. Up to now, the special renovation of the bridge lighting has achieved initial results. Bridges such as the Egongyan Bridge, the Shibanpo Yangtze River Bridge, the Jiahua Bridge and the Shimen Bridge have been renewed with new styles, which reflects the city’s beauty and charm with mountains and waters.

To create a better atmosphere for SCE, the City Lighting Authority also actively cooperated with relevant companies to set up a total of 1362 light pole flags at the northern section of Yuhang Avenue, the entire Airport Road, Jiubin Road, Shabin Road, Jiabin Road, Nanbin Road and other important roads.
