Train crossing a lawn – Another internet-famous attraction

CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Recently, another attraction in Chongqing has gone viral on the Internet.
Trains pass by here from time to time and the hillside is a lush green lawn, so it’s amusing to get an easy picture of a train “crossing” the lawn without the need for aerial photography.
This railway is located off Dabin Road, under the Yudong Yangtze River Bridge (Dadukou direction). Above it, just a road away, is Lanjiang Park, which is under construction, and it is also close to the latest popular attraction, Dadukou Niulanba.
The reporter from Chongqing Morning News recently visited here and found that although it was a working day, there were still many visitors who came to the hillside, spending time with their children, walking their dogs, and those who were in love with their dates, taking short videos for netizens...
Qiuqiu and Maruzi, university students from Daxuecheng, said they had seen this internet-famous attraction and came to make a short video. It was over a two-hour bus ride each way, and they felt pretty good – the lawn, the train, the weather and the videos they shot.
The children who came to play had a great time, calling the train “Thomas” and finding it so fun that they didn’t want to go home.
Perhaps due to the season, the hillside lawn was green and pleasant to view. Trains pass by about once every half hour, sometimes every ten minutes or so. During the two hours the reporter visited, five or six trains passed through, but most of them were “freight trains” and only a few were “passenger trains”.
Some netizens also suggested that the behavior of tourists trampling on the lawn for the sake of visiting is questionable, “The grass is alive too, so please be kind to it!”
The visit by the reporter revealed that this small hill is limited in size, and as a niche attraction, has a limited ability to “welcome” visitors. Therefore, please visit sensibly to avoid congestion and to avoid burdening the area. (Translated by Wang Huixin, Fathom Language Limited)
