CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Last weekend, 2021 Chongqing Bishan Half Marathon kicked off at the People’s Park in Bishan District. Participants enjoyed running and experiencing the unique city scenery of Bishan along the course. The event had three categories: Half Marathon Group (21.0975km), Mini Marathon Group (7km) and Mini Family Parent-Child Group (7km), with about 12,000 participants.

After a fierce competition, Chen Ruixuan, a well-known marathon runner, won the Men’s Half Marathon Group in 1 hour, 11 minutes and 18 seconds. The women’s title was won by Jia Yaya, the “Best Female Runner” in the amateur of Chongqing, with a time of 1 hour, 23 minutes and 16 seconds.

It is learned that the course of this year’s Bishan Marathon is flat and open, with pleasant scenery along the way. After setting off, the paticipants passed through the highly distinctive landscape parks in Bishan, such as Xiuhu Lake Park and Fengxiang Lake Children’s Park, and finally returned to People’s Square.
