Figure Skating China Cup to be held in Chongqing for the third time
CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Chongqing Daily reporter learned from Chongqing Administration of Sport that China Figure Skating Association recently released the Announcement of the China Figure Skating Association on Public Call for Organizers of 2021 China Cup World Figure Skating Grand Prix, which shows that the 2021 China Cup World Figure Skating Grand Prix is expected to be held at Chongqing Huaxi Culture and Sports Center from November 5 to November 7. This is the third year that the event is to be held in Chongqing.
World Figure Skating Grand Prix (China), known as China Cup World Figure Skating Grand Prix, is one of the six races of the World Figure Skating Grand Prix hosted by International Skating Union (ISU). Except individual host players, the competitors are all top 24 outstanding players in the world rankings or in the best performance of last season. The event was held at Chongqing Huaxi Culture and Sports Center in 2019 and 2020, and Chongqing is the fifth city to host the Figure Skating China Cup after Beijing, Nanjing, Harbin and Shanghai.
