BEIJING, Aug. 6 (Xinhua) -- A 5.1-magnitude quake jolted areas near Nyima county of Nagqu Prefecture, Tibet at 23:31 Tuesday Beijing Time, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center.

The epicenter was preliminarily monitored at 31.5 degrees north latitude and 86.7 degrees east longitude, the center said.
