CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- In the near future Chongqing-made LED lights will shine in the subway stations of Paris, France.

The first batch of nearly 20,000 LED lights has been transported to France for the lighting of Paris subway stations. The French Public Transportation Company plans to place the LED lights in over 300 urban subway stations and 66 suburban railway stations under the company. Chongqing Silian Optoelectronic Science and Technology Co. Ltd. won the bid in the global open tendering process participated by more than 50 enterprises, and will therefore provide 50,000 LED lights for the project.

The 50,000 LED lights will arrive in Paris within 2 years. And Paris subway and railway stations are to be illuminated by Chongqing-made lights.

Since 2011, this kind of intelligent LED lighting system has been consecutively promoted in Chongqing main urban districts and each district and county, Liupanshui in Guizhou, Jiaohe in Jilin, Huangshan in Anhui among others.
