The bonded goods exhibition and sales platform in WFC universal shopping center at Jiefangbei officially opened on July 31. This is the first extended platform to help bonded goods reach consumer shopping malls.

For Jiefangbei’s well-developed business circle, the bonded goods exhibition and sales platform represents a new business model. It is understood that the first phase of the platform covers an area of nearly 2,000 square meters. The 2,500 different kinds of product for exhibition and sale are selected from the 15,000 products in the bonded port zone. They are mainly consumer goods, selected articles for daily use, international entry-level luxury watches and jewelry as well as maternal and child supplies.

According to the principal of the Chongqing Bonded Port Zone Import and Export Trade Co., Ltd., the bonded goods are sold at extremely competitive prices. Generally speaking, these imported commodities are 20% cheaper than market prices with jewelry, watches and other goods also up to 20% cheaper than even those in Hong Kong.
