A total of 5,875 foreign-funded enterprises involving a number of industries such as manufacturing, software and real estate, have settled in Chongqing as of the end of August 2014, bringing in a gross investment of over 53.8 billion U.S. dollars, according to news released from the annual meeting on Chongqing’s foreign-funded enterprises on 17th September.
