Chongqing’s 1st English Debating Competition for High School Students came to a successful end on September 22nd at Nankai Middle School. Bashu Middle School’s student delegation won first place among 20 teams from 5 local schools.

The competition, organized by the students themselves, introduced debating at foreign language high schools in order to develop students’ critical thinking and improve English standards. (CQNEWS)
