Two racing cars designed and produced by Chongqing University students recently made their first appearance in the 2014 Student Auto racing event held in Xiangyang City, Hubei.

The two cars, fuelled by petrol and electricity respectively, are equipped with a special WIFI transmitter to record the cars’ speed, water temperature and fuel levels.

Eighty-three teams from 65 universities, both home and abroad, took part in the race. Chongqing University was the only team to participate from Chongqing. (CQNEWS)
